About the talk
Do you know why most startups fail to grow at the pace they'd like to? Let me give you a hint - it's not because they don't have enough features, and it's unlikely that the product is not good enough. After working with dozens of founders, growth & product teams over the past 6 years, I've found two primary reasons why startups fail at hitting their goals:
- The wrong thing is built for the wrong audience at the wrong time.
- There is no clear strategy or point of view on how to drive users through the entire product journey.
In this talk, I'll walk you through a tried and true process that you can use to leverage faster growth. We'll examine how to look at product development from a growth led mindset, and will outline the key steps you need to take to ensure that your users stick around.

I'm a multi-time founder with a deep background in technology, product management, and B2B/B2C marketing & growth. I excel at building and running teams and have been a founding or early member of 6 startups. I'm well versed in all aspects of growth and am an expert at navigating the step-functions needed to get from zero to scale. I began developing web-based applications while in college and have been involved in two successful exits (e-Dialog, New Signature).
